Geetamata English Arts, Commerce and Science Junior College provides instruction for classes XI & XII of arts, commerce and science in English medium as per the pattern laid down by the Government of Maharashtra. The admission process for XI begins when class X (S.S.C) results are declared. Applications forms are to be collected, duly filled and submitted in the college office as per the time table decided by the Centralized Admission Committee. A student seeking admission to the F.Y.J.C. (Class XI) of Arts and Commerce must have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject.
At the time of admission, original School-Leaving Certificate signed by the Headmaster will have to be submitted. As per the Government’s order, this original certificate would not be returned to the student unless the admission is cancelled. A student can be admitted only at the beginning of the academic year. The final authority regarding the grant of admission or rejection to any class lies with the principal

The Geetamata English ACS Jr College has a Total intake Capacity of Three Division (80*3=240 seats) at unaided coeducation.
Environmenal Science (Science )
- The grade of ‘Environmental Science’ is considered as a one of the subject at Y.J.C. level.
- The grade of EVS for XII STD will be sent to HSC BOARD by Projects of “Environmental Science” are compulsory for XI AND XII STD students.

I am very happy and my Parent’s are also proud of my result. The credit to this result given to our Principal and Faculty member of GJC. So, thank you for your efforts. Here, Teacher’s are very friendly and help students each and every way. Due to pandemic offline classes were not held. Then also GJC Team conducted online classes to their fullest efforts. It was an extra ordinary experience. Office staff member are also co-operative and quick at their work.
Beside academics they keep an eye on many celebrations, occasions and also conducted seminar on opportunities of studies in foreign countries. The main concept of GJC is, if you work hard with full consistency and honesty then you will surely get it back in flying colors from GJC in many ways. This will surely reflect in your result. Lastly my sincere gratitude to our Principal Kavita Madam and all faculty members.

Myself Shrutika Shahade ,my journey in GJC for two years was just amazing. Here study are perfectly balanced with extra curriculum activities to achieved overall development of students. The teaching staff is very supportive as they encourage us to give our best in the academic studies.
The growth i have seen in myself invaluable. The college provides every students exactly what they need for life. Faculty lectures ,campus, events, everything was such a learning experience for me .These two years were the best year of my life.

I would like to start by thanking principal Ma’am, teachers and the college staff for their support and guidance during these challenging times. the teachers at Geetamata junior college are extremely helpful and supportive and they made the transition to online learning very easy. the presentations during online classes were well drafted and after every lecture we were given assignments for boosting our overall understanding of the concepts. there were weekly update calls to ensure that all the students were caught up with the lectures and assignments for the week.
The college also held webinars for career options after 12th principal Ma’am conducted virtual meetings to motivate us from time to time. overall, my experience studying at Geetamata junior college was great and memorable.
